Chief Minister Holds Dialogue with Scientists and Innovators for India’s first integrated quantum–bio–medical research ecosystem

Amaravati, Dec 11: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said Amaravati Quantum valley should emerge as an hub for research and innovation. The Chief Minister today met with a delegation comprising leading academicians, researchers, and firms working across quantum computation, wet-lab sciences, and wearable quantum technologies, who presented a strategic roadmap for establishing India’s first integrated quantum–bio–medical research ecosystem in Amaravati. Appreciating  their  collective work, the Chief Minister reaffirmed that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has positioned itself as a promoter of frontier technologies and is committed to creating conditions that attract global-scale investment and innovation. Stressing that the future lies in applications, knowledge, and filling the “missing links,” he noted that very few countries are currently harnessing the power of quantum science in biomedicine. “We have to create an ecosystem and achieve breakthroughs. As a policy maker, I can provide the right policy framework to empower technology,” the Chief Minister said, 
The delegation presented the Amaravati Quantum BioFoundry Vision, which proposes a world-leading knowledge ecosystem anchored by a Quantum Simulation Centre, a National Quantum BioFoundry, an Innovation Hub, and a nationwide spoke network. Its strategic focus areas include quantum medicine, quantum biology, and life sciences integration through a multidisciplinary, computation-led and data-driven approach. The plan outlines an integrated ecosystem comprising Centres of Excellence, clinical partners, industry collaborations, computing infrastructure, research facilities, and start-up and innovation support systems. The discussions explored emerging use cases where quantum technologies are transforming biology and healthcare, and highlighted why Andhra Pradesh, owing to its strategic location, research momentum, and policy agility, is ideally positioned to lead. 
The Chief Minister welcoming the ambitious vision, emphasised the need to create short-, medium-, and long-term applications that deliver transformational change, anchor the ecosystem in a hub-and-spoke model, leverage India’s scientific talent, and build strong national and global institutional networks. He further urged the delegation to maintain an open mind for all possibilities as Amaravati prepares to shape the future of quantum biomedicine.
The delegation comprised experts working across three critical frontiers of quantum technology, computation, wet-lab research, and next-generation wearables. Secretary to Chief Minister Praduymna and ITE&C Secretary Bhaskar Katamneni were also present.
