AMARAVATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam should be  developed  as a world class centre of spirituality, Annadanam, education and  health, observed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He said priority should be given for  quick and hassle free darsan for devotees and the TTD devotees portal should be linked to RTGS.

Adressing a review meeting on TTD and Endowments department at secretariat today, the Chief Minister said that all the hospitals being maintained by TTD should render services on par with Sri Sathyasai hospital of Puttaparthi. He said medical experts should be invited as Srivari sevaks to render free medical services to people. He said all the services should be brought under Whatsapp governance for the convenience of devotees and elaborate arrangements should be made for Vaikunta Ekadasi darsan.

The Chief Minister said that all the five thousands temples to be developed in the state should be redesigned to reflect spir:ituality and peace. When the officials informed the Chief Minister over construction of eight TTD temples in various states, the Chief Minister said all the TTD temples being developed in other states and countries should be affiliated to main temple at Tirumala to maintain transparency in temple funds.

The Chief Minister directed the TTD authorities to take up a innovative programme to speed up darsan facility for common devotees. The temple authorities said at present 8 devotees are having darsan per minute and priority is being given for common devotees during festival season. They said efforts are on  for automation of kitchen to provide annaprasadam to 2.75 lakh people. They said that the sanitation is being supervised through a dedicated app.

Minister for Endowments Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, TTD trust board chairman BR Naidu, Executive officer Anilkumar Singhal, JEO Venkaiah Chowdary and trust board members were present.
