Amaravati, January 8:Information and Public Relations and Housing Minister Kolusu Parthasarathi said that Information Department staff should work in line with the vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu by embracing modern technology.
The Minister on Thursday distributed new video cameras to the Information Department at the publicity wing of the AP Secretariat. Speaking on the occasion, he said the department has been provided with state-of-the-art video cameras to ensure high-quality publicity and professional visual coverage. These cameras will significantly enhance the technical standards of government communication, he added.
Highlighting the rapid changes in technology, the Minister said it is the government’s objective to keep pace with these advancements. As part of this effort, advanced equipment is being supplied to staff to meet evolving technological requirements.
He said the newly procured cameras, in addition to the existing ones, will be used for covering ministerial tours, district collectors’ visits, and VVIP and VIP programmes. As part of this initiative, 20 Sony PXW-Z90V video cameras were handed over to officials.
The Minister also informed that necessary computers and 4G kits will be provided to the Information Department shortly to further strengthen its digital capabilities.
Information Department Director K. S. Viswanathan CE O Madhusudhana Rao and other officials were present at the programme.
