Repealed Labour Laws Should Be Reinstated
Protest by APWJF at the Collectorate

Eluru, 10-06-2025 : It is well known that among the labour laws repealed by the Central Government, two are related to journalists. The Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists Federation (APWJF), Eluru district unit, is demanding that these laws be continued as they were.

In this context, as per the call given by the state committee, a protest was held on Monday, the 9th, according to federation district president S.D. Jabir and secretary Harish. It was decided to conduct protests in all district headquarters by wearing black ribbons and demonstrating at the respective Collectorates.

As part of this, a protest was held at the Eluru Collectorate, the district headquarters, at 10 a.m. on Monday. Along with several journalists, state leaders K. Balasowry, state secretary K.S. Shankarrao, and other members participated in the demonstration.
