Vijayawada, December 23, 2025: Semi-Christmas celebrations were held in a festive atmosphere at the Office of the Commissioner of Information & Public Relations Department located on the second floor of the NTR Administrative Block on Friday. Officers and staff enthusiastically participated and celebrated the occasion with joy.
Additional Director of the department, L. Swarnalatha, and Joint Director P. Kiran Kumar attended as chief guests. Speaking on the occasion, L. Swarnalatha said Christmas is celebrated across the world as a festival of peace and goodwill. She said the teachings of Jesus Christ are relevant to everyone and wished all employees a happy Christmas. She added that celebrations like these strengthen unity and mutual respect among employees.
Joint Director P. Kiran Kumar said Christmas symbolizes peace and harmony and reflects universal brotherhood. He noted that the festival reminds everyone of love, compassion, and humanity.
Employees shared Christmas greetings and messages with one another. Special prayers were offered and a cake-cutting ceremony was organized as part of the celebrations.
