On February 6, a major theft took place at Ingram’s warehouse, where 373 iPhones and other electronic items were stolen. Acting swiftly, the police arrested six suspects, all hailing from Uttar Pradesh:

Surendra Kumar
According to police reports, the stolen iPhones were set to be smuggled and sold in Kathmandu, Nepal. However, the mastermind behind the operation, identified as Ranjith, remains at large, and efforts are underway to apprehend him.

Commissioner Rajasekhar Babu emphasized that modern technology played a crucial role in tracking down the culprits. “No one can evade justice in today’s digital age. Phone records and CCTV surveillance provide critical leads, ensuring that offenders are brought to book,” he stated.
Crackdown on Vallabhaneni Vamsi
In a separate development, the Commissioner confirmed the arrest and remand of Vallabhaneni Vamsi. The police are conducting a technical investigation and plan to seek his custody for further questioning.
“A custody petition is being filed. With today’s advancements, no call or movement goes undetected. Criminals can no longer escape the system,” Rajasekhar Babu asserted.
