VISAKHAPATNAM: Jana Sena chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Saturday launched his "Trishul Programme" aimed at creating leaders from the grassroots level who are ethical. Addressing a public meeting organised by the JS at the Indira Priyadarshini Municipal Stadium in Visakhapatnam, Pawan Kalyan said his party’s journey is one of resilience and redemption. "Jana Sena stands apart. It is not for any particular region or people of a caste. It has been built on strong ideologies for practical politics. Ideology should be there along with practicality," Pawan underlined, drawing cheers from the thousands who attended the public meeting.

Looking ahead, the JS chief spoke about his vision of turning Jana Sena into a national party. “However, this will be contingent on collective effort and commitment. It will have to be beyond positions and monetary gains,” he observed. Significantly, Pawan Kalyan has spoken about his party's national vision from this very stadium, where, in 2011, he spoke about future vision just after establishing the Jana Sena

Govindamma, who courageously fought along with her infant child with police when they detained Pawan Kalyan at Novotel Hotel in the past, inaugurated the public meeting. Providing details about the Trishul programme, the Deputy CM maintained that it will be structured around three core principles – Dharmam (righteousness), Shakti (strength), and Rahasya (secret / strategy). "I will take the responsibility of shaping ethical leaders from the grassroots," Pawan Kalyan told the gathering. "We will start the Trishul programme after Dussehra. I will spare four hours each day for implementing this programme and creating ethical leaders," Pawan underlined.

He said Trishul is a clear path of progression from membership to constituency leadership. There will be accidental death insurance coverage for the programme’s leaders. “As part of the programme, we will focus on women leadership through the "Veera Mahila" initiative Reflecting on Jana Sena's journey since its inception in 2014, Pawan Kalyan highlighted the party's growth from 150 founding members to 12 lakh members today.

In India, we are the only party that had a 100 per cent strike in the 2024 general elections, with 21 MLAs and 2 MPs now representing the party,” he pointed out. The Deputy CM spoke about the personal sacrifices he had to make during his political journey. "I forgot my family—movies didn't work out. But no matter what happened, Janasainikas and Veera Mahilas always stood with me," he remarked. Pawan underlined that one day, Jana Sena is bound to become a national party. “It's not easy. It will not happen if I am alone. If we all stand as one without concerns of position or money with the aim of doing something for the nation, then it will become a reality," he declared
